Affordable Care Act Forms - The deadline draws near

Affordable Care Act (ACA) forms, 1094 and 1095 version B or C, are now approching the extended deadline of March 31st to send out employee copies.  As this deadline draws near, we realize that you still have some questions around the forms and how to process them.

We do tend to see some of the same questions asked on a regular basis in support and below are the answers to this questions.

All of my employees are pulling into the ACA Preparer grid, how do I correct this?
This is one of the most common questions we see, the ACA preparer grid currently pulls in all employees in the system due to previously terminated employees possibly needing this informaiton as well.  We are currently looking into ways to better track this, but currently an employee attribute can be added to employees that should be included and then you can create a query on that specific attribute.  This query can then be used when generating the ACA forms to only include the selected employees.


What do the Safe Harbor and Offer of Coverage codes mean?

Is it possible to query on the ACA information in the system?
Currently, this is not possible but we are looking into adding ths functionality.
