RE Mobile 3.0 Announcement

Hi RE Community!

We are excited to announce an upcoming release for our RE users: RE Mobile 3.0! If you are familiar with the current app, the new version will continue to allow you to accomplish the same tasks you can today (see below), but in a way that leverages a more modern look and feel with an all-new platform and design.

Using RE Mobile 3.0 you will be able to perform the following tasks:

View due and future Actions assigned to you in Raiser’s Edge
Quickly access your Favorites from Raiser’s Edge
View biographical and contact information, giving history, notes, actions, and relations for constituents
Add and edit Action and Note records for a constituent
Mark Actions as completed and log any relevant details and notes regarding the completion of that action
View a list of gifts recently given to your organization

Plus, there are some great new changes from the past version:

Support added for Android tablets
Mobile SKY interface
Bug fixes

Our current plan is to release RE Mobile 3.0 in late October 2016 pending any unforeseen circumstances. The application will be available for download in both the Apple and Google Play app stores.

Over the coming weeks, we will be posting more details about this release in the form of Knowledgebase articles, scheduled webinars, and blog posts! All of this will be announced here, on our Release page. Stay tuned!

Hey everyone! Love the chatter and comments. Here's a quick update:

Things have been going well since BBCon. The EAP will be wrapping up this week and we plan to complete all internal testing in a similar time frame. Our original predicted time tables did get stretched a bit and I apologize for that, but we should be submitting the app to the Apple Store for review later this week and hope to have it available in the Apple and Google Play app stores the week of 11/21. Sorry for the delay but I look forward to hearing your feedback once it is available!

Hey Joel. We are not adding the ability to add Attributes to Actions in the initial release of RE Mobile 3.0. We do have it listed as a potential enhancement for the future though.

Hey Corrine. It will! It will essentially work for anyone that is already (or could be) using the current released version of RE Mobile (available in the Apple and Google Play app stores today). This is not a fundamentally new app, it's just the next version of the existing app with a new look and feel. I hope that helps! Feel free to let you know if you have any more questions. As I mention in the post, we will have more information, explanations, and demos coming in the form of webinars, blog posts, etc.
