Blackbaud will be ending support for the RE Mobile app on March 31, 2023. Read on for more information.

Blackbaud regularly evaluates our solutions to ensure our development efforts are aligned with our vision to power an Ecosystem of Good® that builds a better world. This means that we sometimes make the decision to retire features or products.

Blackbaud will be ending support for the Raiser’s Edge Mobile App on March 31, 2023. On that date, we will begin to disable the server that authenticates user logins and users will soon be able to log into their Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge database using the mobile app.

We made our best efforts to proactively contact all Blackbaud-hosted customers who have recently used the app, and on-premise customers who provisioned it in the past.

We’ve outlined important details about the end of support in this Knowledgebase article. Here, you will find information about what steps are needed to adjust to this change.

  • Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT® customers should adopt webview, which allows for access to the same data and features from mobile devices without an app. We have resources to help at the link above.
  • Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge® 7 customers with either Blackbaud Hosting or self-hosted will no longer have remote access to your database via this app.

As we continue to deepen the capabilities of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, we are not making any further enhancements to the Raise’s Edge Mobile App. If before March 31, 2023, Blackbaud discovers an update to the Apple iOS or Android operating system will cause the app to stop working, we will post that information at the link above so current users can determine the best course of action.
