    Hi, Roma. Our higher ed clients generally use the following: (Note: these are in a UDF other than Account Type, which is a broader brush)

    Current Student (you can break that down to Undergrad, Grad and Doctoral, if need be)

    Alum (see breakdown above)

    Current Parent

    Past Parent

    Current Grandparent

    Past Grandparent

    Current Faculty/Staff

    Former Faculty/Staff

    Current Trustee

    Former Trustee

    Friend (if an individual doesn't fit any of the above categories)

    Business/Corporation

    Government

    Campus Organization

    Organization/Club (with the understanding that this is outside of campus)

    Foundation (some also break out Corporate Foundation and Matching Gift Foundation)


    When you set up your UDF for these, make sure you can choose multiple constituencies to show how deeply invested an individual can be in your institution. I hope this helps!
