Is anyone familiar with the hotels in the area that can give a recommendation?

    I am, to a point. I live in Denver, about 1 mile from the convention center. I'm happy to chat offline too if it's easier. There are a ton of hotels downtown and some just outside of downtown if you're looking for something more unique or in an interesting neighborhood.

    Not sure if this is allowed, but I do have an AirBnB on my property as well.

    @Rob Price Thank you, I am just looking for something walking distance to convention center and restaurants. There are quite a few hotels on the BBCOn booking page so not sure which one to pick.

  • @Marie Stark I'm not familiar with Denver, but noticed that the Embassy Suites is right across the street from the convention center as well as the Hilton Garden Inn and Hyatt Regency Denver. I narrowed down first by distance to the convention center, then looked at the price points as well as the amenities to make my decision where to stay (such as free breakfast and evening reception). They all looked like reputable locations, so I think you won't go wrong with any of them.

    @Jen DittrichThank you.

  • @Marie Stark, The places on 17th aren't far from the Convention Center but farther than the ones on 14th. The Hyatt Regency is the closest, and the biggest. It's really nice and has a great lounge up on the 27th floor or something like that with great views of the mountains. Le Meridien is a bit upscale and very close too. The Sheraton, in my opinion, is kind of dull, and it's in a section of 16th Street mall that might be under construction. Sonesta, meh.
    AC Hotel, Aloft, and Embassy Suites, are all good places.

  • @Rob Price Rob, can you explain your comment about the Courtyard? I just booked that yesterday and then saw your comment today. Thanks!

  • @Bill Connors
    Sure thing. It's a totally fine hotel. It's just that it's right on the 16th Street Mall. The Mall is being renovated right now and that area may be under construction which will have most of the street shut down. It won't necessarily be noisy at night, just inconvenient. I don't think you'll really have anything to worry about staying there. I've known people that stay there and have liked it. And as I think about it right now, there is an entrance on the other side so you don't even need to go on 16th Street. I should go remove my comment because I don't want people worrying about staying there.

  • @Rob Price Terrific, Rob, thank you! I'll keep my reservation there then. Thanks again!
