Tuition Management vs. Billing Management module

Can someone please explain the difference between Tuition Management and the Billing Management module?

    Tuition Management, formerly Smart Tuition is for schools who want to outsource billing (have a parent call center, follow-up services, a lockbox, etc.). Billing Management is for schools that want to handle tuition and billing in-house. Billing Management is still in EAP and not generally available.

    Hi Bryan, Thanks for the explanation. So Billing Management will take the place of the Student Billing Module in the soon to be obsolete Education Edge?

    Hi @Eileen Grabowski - Support for Education Edge and Student Billing will end on August 31, 2022. After that date, these solutions and your data will no longer be accessible. Click here for more info.

    Billing Management isn't necessarily the replacement for Student Billing as some schools are going with Tuition Management. I don't believe there is a date when Billing Management will be in general availability.

    Thanks for your reply Bryan. We began partnering with Tuition Management a year ago in anticipation of EE going away and it's been great so far. The customer service team is top notch! It seemed like the only option available at the time.
