JustGiving: Canadian Tax Receipt not CRA compliant?

We are a Canadian higher education institution using JustGiving for our Athlete's to raise funds. The Canadian tax receipt that JustGiving issues immediately after the donation (with our Charitable Tax Number), is missing a field called “eligible amount” and to my knowledge it is required by the CRA to have both “Donation Amount” and “Eligible Amount” on the receipt. I have inquired with BB support about this and there is no option to edit on our own end to add this onto the receipt. I have also added this issue to the ideas bank as something to add asap as we are not going to be able to continue using the product if it is not CRA complaint. Any other Canadian's having this issue? I will be reaching out to the CRA to inquire as well. Thanks!

  • @Daniel Kace We are a Canadian charity, using JG, and I just downloaded a donation receipt for a gift made last night. I see these fields at the bottom, so it must have been addressed:

    Donation Amount $xxx

Voluntary Contribution*$xxx (the fees donated back)

Total Gift Value / Eligible Amount of the Gift $xxx
