We have some scholarships that are awarded by the FA office but some of our campus partners would like the ability to view these in order to help them distribute their funds equitably. They would like to have view only capability for certain portfolios (while still being able to select/award students for their own portfolios), and I cannot figure out how to accomplish this. Is it possible? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi, @Rob Wirt! Unfortunately, users can only have one type of administrative role, which would give them the permissions defined within that role. This means there's no way to have “View Only” access for one Scope & “Act” permissions for another Scope. The administrator permissions they have for the portfolios they're currently scoped to will be the same permissions they have if you scope them to those that the Financial Aid office manages.

    Unfortunately, scopes are “all or nothing”. If your campus partners have a generic office email, you could set up that office email as a view-only user. It's cumbersome but would give them the access they'd like to have.

    I don't have a fully formed plan about how to do this but I wonder if you could use reviewer groups and reviewer visible categories for the “view only” opportunities?

    Thanks Melissa--I went down that path at first myself, but the issue is that the same folks who would like to view some opportunities need to have the ability to act on others. Right now it doesn't appear this is something that is possible in BAM, but thanks for the response!
