What's New in Raiser's Edge NXT the week of April 27

Published

With the latest update of Raiser's Edge NXT, you can use several new features and enhancements to help cultivate relationships with your constituents, track your solicitors' fundraising efforts, and focus on what matters to you.

Constituent profile pictures from Facebook. To help identify a constituent and personalize their record, the photo from their Facebook account now automatically appears in their profile information. (In future releases, you'll be able to use profile pictures from additional social media accounts and other sources.) For more details, check out the Profile Information Help.

View inactive proposals. With Prospect Research Management, you can manage proposal efforts to cultivate constituent relationships and major gifts. To quickly find an inactive proposal for a constituent, such as to reactivate it, you can now select Include inactive under Proposals on their record and view which are marked as inactive.

View invalid and seasonal address details. Under Constituent summary on a constituent's record, you can now quickly view when an invalid address — such as one no longer in use — was valid and whether (and when) a seasonal address — such as a summer residence — is in season. For more details, see Contact Information Help.

Save fundraising details for solicitor assignments. To help track a solicitor's fundraising effort, you can now save details — such as a goal amount and the applicable campaign, fund, and appeal — when you add or edit their assigned relationship. For more information, check out the Solicitor Assignments Help.

Work Center respects additional security. To help focus on what matters to you, the filters in Work Center now offer only the solicitors and action types you work with, based on your Security settings in the database view. With Prospect Research Management, the Proposals list also now includes only the proposals, actions, and linked gifts you should see, based on the proposals, purpose types, action types, and funds you're allowed in the database view.

For more details about these new features and enhancements, check out the What's New Help. And don't forget to share your thoughts on them with the EAP Survey!
