What's New in Raiser's Edge NXT the week of March 30

Published

With the most recent update to Raiser's Edge NXT, you can now more easily manage your organization's relationships and proposal efforts with constituents.

Assign solicitors to constituents. To help manage relationships with constituents, you can now assign solicitors to them from their records. Under Assigned solicitors, click Assign to specify who should manage the relationship and any other details. For more information, see the Solicitor Assignments Help.

View only pertinent contact information. To help easily contact or locate a constituent, only their pertinent contact information now appears under Constituent summary on their record. Under Contact information, you can now view up to two address, three phone numbers, and three email addresses, with those marked as preferred or primary first. You can now also quickly view which contact information is marked as preferred or primary, inactive, or "do not contact".

In a future release, you'll be able to access a full list of a constituent's contact information for details such as seasonal or previous addresses.

Edit a proposal's status and other details from Work Center. To track a proposal as it moves through your prospect management process, such as from Qualification to Cultivation, you can now update its status from Work Center. On the Proposals tab, click the proposal's menu and select Change proposal status. To edit other details of a proposal, such as its solicitor or deadline, you can now also select Edit proposal from its menu.

In a future release, you'll be able to quickly update specific details of a proposal — such as its solicitor or funding details — from its record.

Easily assign solicitors to proposals. When you add a proposal for a constituent you're assigned to as a solicitor, you're now automatically assigned the proposal. To quickly assign it to someone else, you can now select a suggested solicitor from a list.

Edit proposals to enter solicitor credit. To help easily assign solicitors to proposals and accurately credit them for their effort, you no longer enter solicitor credit when you add a proposal. To specify how much credit a solicitor gets for giving that results from their effort, edit the proposal after you receive its gifts.
