What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT The Week Of August 30

Published

Over the past couple of weeks, Raiser's Edge NXT updated with enhancements to actions, search, and retention metrics, largely driven from feedback, ideas, and requests from organizations like yours — if not yours directly! Consider these features introduced "by popular demand!"...

59771aa768a0aeccbeb66c22b6d8103b-huge-edUpdate notes when you edit an action. With recent enhancements, you could only update notes about a task or interaction from the action's record. To more easily maintain information about an action, you can now — once again! — update its notes when you edit the task or interaction.
  • For a short — less than 255 characters — description, enter it in either the Summary field or Notes box.
  • For a longer description, enter a quick synopsis in the Summary field and then the full content in the Notes box.
For more information, see the Actions Help.

View a list of retained donors or gifts. Under Retention in Fundraising, Analyze, you can now view a list of retained donors or their gifts.
  • To view donors who gave during both the current and previous fiscal years, select the Retained donors total under Year-to-date retention.
  • To view cash-in-hand gifts received from your retained donors during the current fiscal year, select the Retained revenue amount under Year-to-date retention.
  • To view donors retained during a specific month over the past five year, select its data point under Rolling donor retention for a list of its constituents.
For more information, check out the Retention Analysis Help.

f2f5f746208936536b3501178026510d-huge-mrView recently accessed constituents, and use IDs and additional email addresses to find constituents. To help save time, you can now view a list of constituents — up to eight! — whose records you recently accessed when you select the Search for a constituent field. Additionally, to help search for a constituent, you can now use the lookup ID for their record or any email address on their record (except those marked as Inactive). Previously, you could only use the constituent's name, spouse's name, or primary email address. For more information, see Search for Constituents Help.
