I think you guys need to be more clear on the server-side requirement, the initial release information did not mention this. Most larger organizations do not update this type of software at a regular clip - we are still on Exchange 2010 SP3 for instance. It would be wise to be more upfront with that information and help manage expectations. Thanks!
Hi Bob,

The body of your email should automatically be copied into the notes of the email. A few things to note there are that attachments and html formatting are not currently supported -- only the plain text version of the email content will be copied over. Could you give me more information about what you were doing when you saved the email? What folder were you viewing/saving from (ie: were you composing an email, interacting from your inbox, or your sent folder)?

In terms of adding the action automatically when you hit send, it is a possible enhancement we could make in the future. Or initial discovery led us to believe that adding the actions separately from the send action allows for more flexibility, particularly when composing emails to multiple constituents. It is definitely a potential enhancement we could make though, so I would recommend posting the suggestion on the idea bank and if it gets a lot of votes, we might change the experience on that front.

Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you continue to enjoy the add-in!

Steve, thakns for the info. I tried this out. It is great to be able to work in my regular Outlook rather than the old Outlook 2007 now associated with the Data Base View, woith its exgtra steps required.  But I was expecting two things that did not happen: 1) I was expecting that an e mail sent would be automatically saved in actions. This used to be the case in database view. Is this coming in the future?  2) I was expecting to be able to see the body of my sent e mail in the actions, after I selected the e mail for saving.  Am I missing something? thanks.
Hey Donella! The add-in works with a variety of flavors of Outlook, including:
- Office 365 Outlook on the Web
- 2013 or later for Windows
- 2016 or later for Mac
- Outlook for iOS (Outlook for Android coming soon)
- Server-side with Exchange Online and Exchange Server 2016 or later

I hope that helps! Thanks!
Hi Steve, Is this add-on for specific versions of Outlook?  (i.e. Office 365, Outlook 2013?) or will it work with Outlook 2010, Outlook hosted locally on an Exchange server?
Regards, DonellaPost
