Pumpkin Chimeneas And Fall Fundraising 3932

Pumpkin Chimeneas And Fall Fundraising

Published
During a recent trip to my local grocery store, I purchased a pumpkin-shaped chimenea. Chimeneas are freestanding fireplaces, traditionally made from clay, and are popular items here in the South. As I walked in the door with my pumpkin, my husband looked at me with a shocked expression on his face. “It’s way too early for fall decorations, honey,” he exclaimed.

I completely agreed with him! However, the popularity of these particular pumpkin chimeneas meant I had eyed, but missed out getting one for two years. I refused to purchase a pumpkin chimenea in August, but by September the stores were sold out. This year I wasn’t going to be behind the crowd!

Have you often felt behind the fundraising crowd? Have prospects asked you for crucial information about your organization and you’ve had to politely say, “I’ll get back to you with that information.”

With SKY Reporting in Raiser’s Edge NXT, you no longer need to feel left behind. In Blackbaud University’s newest eLearning course for Raiser’s Edge NXT, you will learn how to navigate, customize, and share the data in dashboards. Dashboards allow you to easily access total giving dollars, or break down giving data by campaigns, funds, or appeals. You can quickly provide details such as donor retention rates, as well as the specifics of those rates.

This fall you will be busy on the road, meeting with prospects, helping with fall events, and closing proposals. By taking a moment now to understand the functionality and the data available, you will be able to access information anywhere you have an Internet connection during the busy fall season.

Don’t be behind this fall! Refresh your knowledge or learn something new about dashboards in Raiser’s Edge NXT and launch our new course RENXT: Basics of SKY Reporting for the Executive.

Also, if you’re in the market for a pumpkin chimenea, now is the time to grab one before they sell out!
