Profile Pictures through Gravatar (No More!)

**Updating this to mention that the new feature to display a constituent's initials as their profile picture replaced this gravatar integration (just in case you wondered where that constituent's picture of their cat when to). Instead of the image the constituent associated with their email address in another application like WordPress, you'll now see their initials until you save a new profile picture. For more information, check out the Profile Pictures Help.**

A few months back,
Raiser's Edge NXT introduced the ability to personalize constituent records with profile pictures. With this feature, you can easily put faces to names to help cultivate personal relationships and identify constituents at a fundraising event or crowded coffee shop. As pointed out in the Discussions forum, it's possible a constituent record may already include a headshot or image through no work of your own. Don't be alarmed!

Similar to a previous (and now defunct) Facebook integration, this automatic profile picture appears thanks to the information you save about the constituent. If you save an email address that the constituent uses with WordPress or another supporting application, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically grabs their globally-recognized avatar — or gravatar — as their profile picture. If you have another image you'd rather use — a photo of them volunteering with your mission, for example — simply select their profile picture to replace it!
