Coming Soon: New Security Options For The JustGiving-Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT Integration

In response to customer feedback, we’re introducing security roles for the JustGiving integration with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT so that admins can determine who can view and manage integration details in RENXT web view.

What’s new?

The new permissions will control whether users can:
  • View the Peer-to-peer fundraising tile on the constituent records
  • View and manage the Recognition credit tile on gift records
  • Manage JustGiving integration settings in Control panel, Settings.

    .
How is this different?

Previously, the tiles appeared for all users and the settings were only available for admins. Thanks to this update:
  • Non-admin users will be able to update settings like Campaign, Fund, and Appeal for new JustGiving campaigns.
  • Peer-to-peer fundraising tiles can be shown or hidden depending on a user’s role. This helps de-clutter the constituent and gift records for users who don’t need to see this information.
What do I need to do?

Starting May 3, 2022, you can add or edit existing Fundraising and Settings roles in Control panel, Security to include these new JustGiving integration tasks.

Under Roles, Fundraising roles:

Under Roles, Settings roles:

What happens if I don’t change anything?

By default, only admins will see the Peer-to-peer fundraising and Recognition credit tiles and be able to manage the settings. Until you update permissions for non-admin roles, those users won’t have access to the JustGiving features.

For detailed information about security, see Raiser’s Edge NXT security roles.
