This week, Raiser's Edge NXT introduces changes for donation forms.
Updated country field includes all countries in donation forms (for those in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand)
To improve international address support, now all countries are available in donation forms. If a donor's selected country isn't in the database view, it's added so the form can collect their address.
Enhanced address field supports standarded addresses in donation forms (for those in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand)
To improve data integrity and the donor experience, a donor can now choose from a list of standardized addresses when they begin entering their address on a donation form.

To comply with communication opt-in best practices, consent options in new donation forms are no longer selected by default. To show all options as selected, from Tools, Donation form designer, create or edit a form. Under Form, select Consent options from Donor information in the Form designer. Under Other settings, select Show all consent options as selected by default. For more information, see Donation Form Consent Options.

Thanks for this information. However, to be honest, this is not very helpful. When you said “Updated country fields” did you mean “County”? The selection lists for States and Counties are not very helpful because they contain too many entries. For example, if I were a donor in the UK and then wanted to select my county--I would give up before being able to find the right entry. Please allow free-form address fields for County, Suburb, Province like you allow for City. The selection process is really to unwieldy. Also, we need a Prefecture field for Japan. Thanks.

I took a look at your donation form on your website. It appears you are using the Online Express donation form which has a County field that populates from the State table in the database view.
This announcement is about the Raiser's Edge NXT donation form in web view, which can be found under the “Tools” menu. It is possible you are using both forms. The RENXT web view donation form uses an address search service which shows only the fields the donor needs for their country. Since you are a US based customer I should tell you right now this enriched address functionality will be available in the US in the coming weeks for the RENXT form. Right now United States is only country available. Since I'm on the subject of this form and upcoming features, you will see tribute gifts and constituent custom fields (attributes) being added this month too.
