Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®: Get Ready To Party With Group Registration (US)
Published
As gala season quickly approaches, we’re excited to announce that multi-person registration is now available to Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT® customers in the United States. With these changes, your organization can collect multiple names for tickets so guests can register together for galas, golf tournaments, or other events.
How does it work?
Setup is simple. From an event record in web view, start from the Fees tile. Add registration fees and indicate how many people each fee includes. For example, a gala table might include six registrants. You can also create fees for add-ons like raffle tickets or parking passes.
If you need to collect custom information, such as each registrant’s meal preference, create participant options from the Participant options tile.
Next, add the fees and the participant options to the form.
Note that as you configure your registration form, you can now associate participation levels with registration fees to automatically apply the levels to people when they register. Previously, you could only apply participation levels through back office registrations.
What do registrants see?
When registrants use the form, they can quickly enter details about each person in their group. If a registrant signs the same person up for more than one fee, they can select from a list of registrants they already entered so they can skip adding contact information again!

We want to keep you informed about our future plans. Here's a heads-up on a few upcoming event enhancements:
- Convert event guests into hosts of their own parties.
- Easily filter participant lists by fees.
- Exported participant lists will provide a breakdown of quantities and amounts for each fee.
