First, thanks to everyone for your feedback on our 5.26 release. With that feedback in mind, we made the following changes to Altru version 5.26:

1. Passwords expire every 365 days (instead of every 90 days)

2. Password expiration message includes an additional sentence: Select “Forgot your password?” below to continue.

This upgrade has been completed for a majority of Altru sites, and we apologize that this communication was not sent out earlier in advance of those upgrades. The remaining sites received a maintenance email today for the release which will take place on Tuesday, August 23rd.

As mentioned previously, there will be additional improvements to the expired password user experience in our next Altru release, Altru 5.27 which is slated for this October/November.

So I'm seeing on records that have an online account - and under the Web/Online tab, the words Verification Pending - even on new accounts - I deal mostly in General Membership. Does this just mean that it is up to the user to click or confirm something on their end? THANKS!!!

Thanks for reaching out! Verification Pending means that the user has not logged into web forms with Multi-Factor Authentication. All online accounts will continue to say Verification Pending until your organization turns on MFA for Altru's Web forms. You can take a look at these links for Information about turning on MFA and the Patron MFA experience.
