Having recently completed the relocation of your Altru solution to Blackbaud Cloud Operations and a Microsoft Azure® environment, you will experience the benefits of modern cloud infrastructure enabling heightened security, reliability, and performance.

Cloud Relocation Resources for Altru
On the heels of this relocation, Blackbaud is also pleased to announce that TDE (Transparent Database Encryption) is now enabled for all Altru customers.
TDE is an industry standard best practice methodology that provides Altru customers with the added security of full database encryption for all fields, including free-text note fields.
Blackbaud Cloud Operations has enabled TDE for all environments including production and non-production without any customer effort or impact to normal customer operations. TDE enablement does not require any action for Blackbaud Altru customers to begin benefitting from this additional layer of security.
If you're considering Altru at this time, rest assured all new Altru customers will also be hosted in an Azure environment complete with all the protection it provides, including TDE.
Going forward, Blackbaud will continue to enable its customers with industry leading security and compliance capabilities so they can focus on achieving their mission.
