The same spirit of creativity and exploration that was shared at bbdevdays carries forward into an amazing opportunity to step into the spotlight with the Blackbaud Impact Awards. Nominations are open through Friday, June 13.
The Blackbaud Impact Awards showcase celebrate the amazing achievements of our customers around the world and the behind-the-scenes excellence that makes it all possible. And specifically, we designed the Futurist Award category with this community of incredible innovators in mind. The Futurist Award celebrates out-of-the-box thinking and shines a light on organizations leveraging automations and integrations within Blackbaud’s flexible ecosystem to expand what’s possible.

Take inspiration from Alex Campomanes, director of advancement services at University of Manitoba, winner of the 2024 Futurist Award, who shared how that recognition led to an exciting turning point for his team and the university:
"Winning the Futurist Award in 2024 was a major turning point for us. It validated years of transformative work and positioned our team as a driver of innovation within the university. The recognition boosted internal credibility, accelerated adoption across departments, and gave us the momentum to push even further. More than anything, it helped our staff feel seen—and that changed the culture.
Winning the award also helped catalyze the next logical step: the formation of AccelerateIQ, a new external model that we are commercializing to help generate revenue and reinforce the university's long-term success. Its success will directly strengthen the University of Manitoba’s capacity for growth and innovation, and we are excited about how it will be able to support other institutions as well.”
