HAVE YOU POLISHED YOUR PROFILE YET?
Last week we kicked off our challenge to every Community member to look at their profile and take the following actions:
- Add or update your profile pic.
- Update your bio.
- Add/update your role.
- Add/update the solutions you use.
So far, we have seen over 60 people change their profile images, and we’re looking to get that number to over 100. Can you change yours to a more updated look? We also had over 200 members change/update their profile information. Help us get to 300 this week!
For the rest of this month, we are boosting the points values for updating your profile picture and updating your bio! An updated profile pic will net you 500 Community points. Update your bio, role, or solutions and get 1,000!

Are you more driven by badges than points? Good news! If you upload a profile pic for the first time, you will receive a participant badge. And the points awarded will help you move toward that
next authority badge level!

Each week, we aim to bring you a little closer to one of our Blackbaud Community super users (AKA Ninjas). This week, we’d like to introduce
Marie Stark, data analyst with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation in Miami, Florida. Marie is a green level ninja, Blackbaud Champion, and is certified in 3 different products.
What area are you in (geographically) and why do you love it?
People think the Miami area is just beaches, but it offers a lot more than that. There are gardens, museums, and cultural events. We have a large variety of restaurants featuring foods from all over the world. And of course, the winter weather is lovely.
What do you enjoy about the Blackbaud Community?
I like the fact that so many people are so quick to jump in and help other members. No matter if it is a technical question, best practice advice, bbcon info, or pet photos - someone is always willing and able to help. It’s a great resource for us.
What is something that you never thought you’d enjoy at your current job that gets you up and motivates you now?
I like the challenge of finding new ways to accomplish my work, whether in database view or web view. I also like teaching other team members tips and tricks to make their work easier.
