Merging two funds

I have two funds that are both going to the same account and want to merge them together and rename. Is this possible? If so, can anybody help me through the process? Thank you!

    Yes, all the gifts from one fund must be changed to the other one. That can be done with a global change.

    as long as these are not split gifts, or posted gifts, you can do this through a global change or import. I prefer import as it gives you more flexibility. If you do not need either of these codes for historical purposes I'd recommend whatever code is on the most gifts change that to your new code ID/Description. Then export the following info for the other fund: Const Import ID, Gift Import ID, Campaign, Fund, Appeal - change the fund in this file to whatever your new fund code is and import this CSV file via a gift import with Update Existing Records selected as the action. If you do need/want the historical codes, create the new code and export all gifts with the old code and do the same change. Good luck!
