Need assistance to create client mailing address to save in excel.

    Hello Lan!


    This is really going to depend on who you would like to include in your mailing. Did you want to include everyone in your database? Maybe only those who have given a certain amount of money or have been active in the last couple years? In any case, it's smart to start with a Clean Mailing list. This will ensure you exclude anyone who has been marked as Do Not Mail or Deceased. We have the steps for creating this query here: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/63664.


    By previewing the results of that query you can export into Excel. Keep in mind that you may want to use that Clean Mailing List as a starting query for a NEW query if you have other criteria (such as, has donated in the last 5 years). You can also create a custom report to include additional information like giving history or any UDFs that are important for this list.
