Deleting Communication Templates

Hi 

If I delete a standard thank you letter template which we used in 2018, will it delete the journal entries in the various accounts that we sent it to. I don't want to press delete just in case it does. Thanks Tracey

    I too would be curious on this. I will be cleaning up my queries and reports in January/ February and want to make sure if I delete something, it does not affect the Mass Communications and Journal Entries.Any help would be fantastic.

    I have this question as well. Why can't you make communication templates inactive, like you can funds? Since you save the communication to the journal without saving an actual copy of the letter to the person, it would make more sense to have it archived in eTap.
