Thanks for the thought, Carlene Johnson - currently my org is still all working from home, and I'm not near... anywhere, actually ? But if/when we go back to our building it might indeed work - you're close to the Red Line, right? I appreciate you checking in.Yes, Red Line - JFK/UMass stop. Looking forward to a time when we can start gathering in person again!

Thanks Shannon Knight ! This is something we are looking to optimize in 2021.Tim - it would be great if gatherings for Champions/Community didn't conflict with gatherings for different verticals. I don't want to have to choose between my vertical and "my people"! ?

I'm actually more interested in BBK12 - will that be happening in summer 2021? Any thoughts on whether it will be virtual again? While I'm glad we know it will be virtual this far in advance, I'm really sad that there won't be any session for Raiser's Edge / Fundraising at UC21. Looks like they are pushing all that content to bbcon. ?

Has a decision been made about whether it will be an in person or a virtual conference?1

Yes
? they announced in January that BBCON would be virtual in

BBCon 2020 seemed like a bit of a mess here and there. I understand that it was difficult to manage all of the moving pieces, however logistically it could have been better. I would have liked to have seen the other sessions from the other regions been made available from the beginning. The sessions themselves were good, however I wish there was better notice about when the sessions would be. I would have liked to have planned my days out a little more in advance. Not having access to the schedule made that difficult. Also, the vendor area seemed so confusing to me.
I wish you good luck with it all. I know it's a tough ask to put this together with such a large audience, but it can be done. It's all a learning experience.
BTW, I absolutely hate seeing plug-in based sessions. I hate looking into a session and feeling like I just a front row taping for an infomercial. I wish these sessions could be denoted before I go and sign up.5 -
Agree, Carlene! K-12 schools are unique and we could all benefit greatly from content related to us. Thank you for pointing this out!

I found the security sessions to be very helpful. I also am also interested in learning more about the Power BI and Power automate tools. As a side note, what should we budget for our teams to attend BBCON virtually this year? We enjoyed the virtual platform and I would love for our team to attend again this year.0

I agree with the positive comments regarding BB's ability to quickly make the event virtual. I really appreciated that it was free as well and of course with anything there is room for improvements. Because it is such a busy time for my office--there were many sessionsI was hoping to see during and after the 3 days and although there was what seemed like ample time to do so, there were many sessions I didn't get to view--I was just too busy. Perhaps extending the time for accessing the recorded sessions is possible? Thank you!3

I would like to see more info on how lay people can utilize Sky developer without being a developer.3

I love Candy Reichert's suggestion!1

Me too!0

Candy Reichert, Tina Pappas, and Marie Stark - You should check out the BB Developer's Conference happening in June. There will be sessions on how to utilize SKY Developer for low-code/no-code users, as well as sessions on the NXT connector to Microsoft Power Automate.0

I hate to bring up the same thing I've brought up for the past few years, but I can only hope things will be different this year. For those of us (apparently a few hundred) that are using FIMS and have heard the constant mantra, "We have no plans to sunset FIMS", it sure would be nice to see some valuable conference content around a product that's "not going away". For the past couple of BBCONs, there have been very few, if any, FIMS sessions available. We are an organization of about 40 FIMS users, and we're all at different expertise levels.
Alternatively, I could live without the FIMS content if there was solid, informational content on the roadmap to FinancialEdge NXT. We went from dedicated sessions a few years ago on the development of FENXT to be able to take over the full functionality of FIMS to nothing. As a FIMS client, I would like to see sessions on where FENXT stands in its development roadmap. How can clients like me plan for a successful FIMS-to-FE migration? I know I could just have a conversation with my CSM or Account Exec, but having a session or two on this would present a platform for this information that many FIMS clients can benefit from at once.
And since clients like me that have heard nothing on the development of FE to take over for FIMS, we are inclined to remain with FIMS, knowing it does what it does very well. So it would be nice to see some sessions on things like data grids, reporting, Tips & Tricks on the newest features of the latest FIMS releases, etc. Additional content might be how clients have "transitioned" away from FIMS CRM - what tools they're using instead, like RENXT or Blackbaud CRM, or how some clients have already made the switch from FIMS to FENXT and what hurdles they experienced.
Curious to hear what other FIMS clients think.0 -
Thank you, Austen. Do you know if the sessions would be available to watch on Demand in case we are not able to watch them?0
-
Marie Stark - All sessions (except for Skills Labs) will be available for viewing on-demand until August 1.2

Thank you!0

I might just do this. It wont break my bank if I can't get work support.
