What's up, Community! ?

Anyone have any exciting/cool/relaxing summer plans? Vacations? Taking it easy at home? Catching up on some to-do's?

Think we are going to do a little landscaping here. We're vacationing to Florida in September for some Halloween Horror Nights action, so summer will be utilized for in-town fun and some work around the house. And, of course, lots of shaved ice! ?

Would love to hear what you'll be up to!

Definitely taking it easy! We've been remodeling at home the past year, and we need a break from all the busy!

I also am building a pretty new strawberry bed out back in the garden. Can't wait till it's green and growing. ?

My plan is like Faith Murray's to relax!

I'll challenge myself a little and try out surfing this summer. My friends and kids make it look like a breeze! We don't have huge waves so I hope I only fall through June and will be hopping up all July and August!

Halloween Horror Nights are right up Crystal Bruce‍'s alley!!

Nothing special planned. Honestly, with one of our annual fundraisers taking place in September, summer is going to be very busy for me (workwise). I may take a few vacation days here and there (for sanity's sake), but definitely won't be traveling or going anywhere fun. Maybe next year. ?

I think it'll be my traditional plan of staying indoors out of the sun but probably not anywhere abroad this year. I do have a fence and a shed to paint though...

Me, too Rachel Cavalier‍ ! Summer in South Florida is not the time to be outdoors! I plan on travelling to New Jersey to see family, FINALLY, but other than that we will probable do spontaneous trips here and there. For the upcoming long weekend (not summer yet!) we're going kayaking and fishing in the Everglades.

Lookup Belle Meade Plantation & Winery for while you're in Tennessee. If you are at all into history or wine (or horses), you could find this place very interesting. I stumbled up on it back in 2013 while on a road trip and want to go back!
