What is something new you have recently tried?

My mother-in-law came over to practice Tai-Chi with us this week. We just followed a peaceful looking woman in a beautiful spot in nature leading us in a 10 minute beginner session of Tai-Chi. I couldn't believe how alive I felt trying something new in only 10 minutes. I am looking forward to doing the next 10 minute you tube Tai-Chi lesson.

  • I went on a boat last weekend for the first time is SO long, and was on an inner tube for the very first time ever behind the boat! It was very tame on the river, so it was a wonderful introduction to it.

I am totally going to check out that Tai-Chi video, @Elizabeth Perron! I have wanted to learn/do/experience that for years now and keep only hearing about sessions that clash with my work schedule or happen at 6am, which is not doable for me.

  • That sounds cool, Elizabeth. I'll have to try out some TC.

  • I zip lined at Hunter Mountain. It was the tallest fastest zipline in the Northeast. What a crazy experience it was. It was a pure adrenaline rush.

Iceland, Sólheimajökull Glacier - June 2021

I recently traveled to Iceland and we tried glacier hiking and ice climbing and it was both exhilarating and a little nerve-wracking but no matter what one could not help but be 100% present. It was an incredible experience and one that I highly recommend!

  • This looks amazing! Thanks for sharing!

  • I also love the mountains and being outdoors - that looks like so much fun!

  • Love being in the mountains!
