    I was also at Nashville. It was my second BBCON (first in Baltimore) and first time to Music City where I saw the daughter of a neighbor singing at a club (she rocked!) and later, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit perform at the Ryman. My wife and I were taking a self-guided tour of the historic former church and former home of the Grand Old Opry when I noticed in the auditorium that they were setting up band equipment for a show. I discovered Jason Isbell was starting the first of 7 straight sold out nights. I texted our oldest son in Chicago because he's a big Isbell fan. 20 minutes later, he sends us two tickets he was able to find for the sold out opening night! Great show! Great son!

    I don't consider myself much of a Country music fan, but I also went to BBCON in Nashville in 2014 and really enjoyed touring the Ryman that year. I attended a show at the Opry in both 2014 and 2019 and they were a lot of fun. After doing that I watched Ken Burns Country Music documentary and really enjoyed learning more about that genre of music. I hope I can go there again someday.

    The only time I've yet been to BBCon in person was the 2018 Orlando one. So cool, and I really can't wait to do it again!

    Also Nashville in 2019. My friend and I went to the Opry and saw Ricky Skaggs and Charlie Daniels. Lot of fun.

    2015 in Austin. We had it in the budget for 2020, and then 2020 happened.

    My co-worker took a selfie of us riding in a pedicab one evening. Someone back at the office pinched it from the internet and started adding captions to it. which has continued to this day. For example, when we got a good review from a consultant:

    San Diego, CA. First and last. Hopefully I'll get a chance to attend another in-person one next year! Virtual ones are just not the same experience. Work always manages to get in the way, and you don't get the same networking experience.

    Austin! Who else was trapped in the airport trying to leave BBCon that year because of the storm? Took me two days of flying and connections to get me home to Canada, once flights started going again. Haha
