I've tried three times and haven't gotten them all yet - Best is 7/8. Today's game I have 6 with only one more try, so that's gonna be another loss. Thanks @Kirsten Petersen for adding another stressor to my morning LMAO!

Can anyone recommend a good app version so I can download onto my phone?I just keep it bookmarked on my phone. There are apps, but unless you want to pay they have way too many stupid ads! This is a challenge game on Facebook Messenger that I play with friends:

Wordle is. It is a five letter word guessing game with one word as one answer. Quordle and others are multiple 5 letter words for answers…and too confusing and scary for my wee brain (oh, brain is a good start word!)

I don't play everyday, although I try to get out there several times a week to play Wordle. I was using “adieu” as a starter thanks to my Nerdle-fan daughter; I do that occasionally just to see if I can! I've heard of Quordle but am not brave enough to try it so I don't know if I could even look at Octordle. I'll have to mention that one and Heardle to my daughters.

Have you heard about WordleBot? Short version: it's a NY Times “tool” that analyzes your Wordle playing. It'll show you how the WordleBot would have approached the same puzzle.

I'm now completely obsessed with all of them! I've only managed to guess all 8 in Octordle a few times, but I feel like the brain exercise is worth it! There is also a Daily Word Puzzle on Facebook Messenger that starts with a five letter word, and goes to six when you solve the five and then to seven. You can challenge your Facebook friends with that one.

@Jennifer Vincent, @Kirsten Petersen -- meh…after about the 8th or 9th word, you have all the information needed to complete the other 24 words that it isn't much of a challenge after that. I quit playing it. Well, that and my daughter told me I really had too much time on my hands! ?
