Wow, so weird looking! I never heard of “peanut pumpkins” before. Definitely a keeper!I had to “google” this and found out that the peanuts are formed by extra sugar in the skin. So you picked an extra tasty winner! I also found out that technically they belong to a squash species related to the warty Hubbard squash, as there are 4 different species of squashes, and only the Cucurbita pepo are considered “true pumpkins” by botanists. (Interestingly, most pumpkin pie mix at the store is made from squash, not true pumpkins!)
