Good afternoon. We are considering using Blackbaud consulting to assist us with enhancing our BAM system. Have you used Blackbaud consulting? What did you use it for? Anything you would change?

    @Kristy Fix We have used BB consulting when implementing Award Management (there was a large time gap between when we first purchased AM and when we were actually ready to implement it). Because it is expensive, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. I think it depends on which consultant you are set up with. If your AM side has already gone live, I would recommend reaching out to BB support for help. I found BB support to be just as helpful as the consultant. I also used the knowledge base frequently, which our consultant often pointed us to. It also helps to reach out to other universities similar to yours to get tips and help.

    If you ever set up the Stewardship Management side of things, the consultant for that ( I think there is only one) is awesome.

    We have used consulting time to talk through our issues with and implementation of renewal management. Some of the conversations were valuable and allowed us to get time with the product management team. However, for many things, the help desk is just as helpful and efficient with things that may not require discussion. We also implemented CUUI with the help of our consultant, but found that we could have saved some of that consulting time and just gotten the assistance from the help desk.
