Is anyone else getting a lot more emails/calls from those having issues using the BBID? I've been getting a lot more emails and phone calls from people navigating the BBID. Not all share their exact issues, however we are having to step in more frequently and manually upload documents. Can anyone share if they experienced this and how you have navigated this issue.?

    @Mark Guzman We have an open case with BB regarding a couple of our off-campus reviewers who indicate that they've been able to set up their BBID, but are still not able to log in. Still waiting for resolution.

    Yes, we have had the same. Many more requests to manually upload a document. Our regular tips, clear cache, change browser, shorten the doc name, etc have not worked

    @Ken Fick Thanks for the heads up, a few of our scholarships are now entering the review stage, So I will keep a look out for any issues.

    @Mark Guzman we're having many issues with “Your account is locked" messages for my users. Most of my external reviewers are doing well with the transition. It has been the internal folks that are getting errors and it looks like we're going to have to roll our internal users into system through the “Admin and Applicants” side with our SSO. Unfortunately, this will create a two-tiered login routine, which just introduces more confusion for my reviewer volunteers.

    This is one of those things that Blackbaud did to protect themselves, rather than to benefit their users.

    We have also noticed an increase in issues for all the reasons that people have described on this thread. One of the things that might help with this log in issue is to be able to change the name of the log in tabs. We use the remote identity API which often creates our campus users' accounts with the UID populated, requiring them to log in via the “Applicants and Administrators” tab, when they are neither of those roles.

    One of the solutions that would help is the ability to rename these tabs within our systems. There is an open AM IDEA that I would recommend everyone who would like this functionality to go vote for it. The name of the IDEA is “Ability to Change Sign-In / Authentication Tab Labels to avoid Creating Duplicate Users in BAM”, or simply search for “Applicants and Administrators” from the AM IDEAS page. This community site doesn't allow direct links, so that is why I have only provided the search criteria.
