@Crystal Bruce 2023 was my first in person bbcon, and really my first professional conference. I enjoyed the opportunity for my introverted self to meet other like-minded people, as well as to officially meet in person many whom I had only known online previously. I also appreciated the extra opportunities available for All Stars and Champions, like meeting Chaunte Lowe. Truly an all-around great experience I certainly hope to do again soon!

@Crystal Bruce bbcon has been a great way to connect with others in this industry. One of my favorite memories is from the Blackbaud certified users reception in Austin, TX (2015 or 2016?) when I met a fellow RE user who just happened to live 30 minutes away from me. She ended up becoming a “real life" friend as well as a RE colleague.

2023 was my first bbcon, and the whole experience was wonderful. I enjoyed meeting one of our former account people and being able to connect with her and others. Listening to Chaunte Lowe was so inspiring and such a joy, and so many of the sessions were so helpful!4 -

@Crystal Bruce Denver was my first BBCON as we are just getting ready to go live next week. Being able to hear pain points and solutions and think about how we are going to use the system was extremely helpful in decisions that we were making.

@Crystal Bruce Played a fun game of mini golf in the hallways with some friends I met in the pre-conference workshop. That workshop enhanced my conference experience dramatically both through the opportunity to delve deeper into a specific subject, but also making connections with other attendees before the conference even officially started.

@Crystal Bruce I have so many fond memories of friendships that were formed at bbcon. My best is Shirley Anton Hamilton. At the time, she worked at the Eyesight Foundation of Alabama. We learned a bunch, laughed a lot and still connect to this day. I love her tag line… “where philanthropy, needs and action intersect.”
