Help with "integrating" with QuickBooks

Good Afternoon.

We are new to BB this school year and are getting ready to push out Tuition Management integrated contracts from EMS. Previously we did all of our tuition billing out of the receivables module of QuickBooks (Desktop Enterprise Version). Our next hurdle is to “integrate” TM with the accounting side of QuickBooks. We are looking for a school in our situation that would be willing to have a discussion regarding their procedures to integrate the 2 products. BB does have an integration for this scenario, but we would like to work out our options before proceeding down that road. We are using the Accrual Accounting method in QuickBooks.

We also would be willing to engage with any consultants who may be on the forum with experience in both Tuition Management and QuickBooks desktop.

    I am also interested in how this can be done. We're getting ready to launch and would like to find a way to automate if possible.

    Ditto, would like to have some specifics about how the integration works. Currently recreating invoicing and payments in QB so the two systems mirror each other for reconciliation purposes.

    @Brent Wilhelm Hi Brent, We have recently moved from Facts to BB TM for our parents tuition management. We use QB online for our financials and it does not integrate BB.

    We use BB TM exclusively to track the students accounts and generate and activity report to post the monthly JE to post into Quickbooks. Where we are having issues is getting the A/R to match because it appears the parents that pay through the BB web portal are not hitting the report or posted in some other matter that leaves them off the consolidated reporting.

    Is anyone else experiencing problems with accurate A/R reporting.

    We believe it may have something to do with timing of deposits or float issues.
