SKI API - onPrem Viability

Has anyone attempted to connect SKI API to an onPrem BBCRM/BBIS install? I am about to start down this path and am wondering if anyone has any tips/gotchas that they've encountered.

    @Michael Kracke - Have you heard that it's even a possibility yet? We have not heard that it is something that we could even try.

    @Aaron Wiens Yes it is possible as long as you are on SP35 or newer. Below is a link to Blackbaud documentation. There are a few road blocks listed in this article. However, I am not sure how large of a blocker they truly are. It is my plan to start on this path in the near future, so I thought I would reach out to the community right out of the gate. I will try to post updates on my progress as well.

    @Michael Kracke - Thanks for sending that over. We aren't at SP35 yet but will be upgrading this year.

    @Michael Kracke we are going to tackling this in the next couple of months, so it would be great to know if you have any particular issues.

    Just a brief update on this. It took some convincing, but we are working with Blackbaud to find a way to do this. So far, the biggest hurdle is connecting to environments behind a VPN. If your environment has public DNS, this appears to be do-able.

    I will note that at this time we are not fully connected, but there is hope.
