PowerUp Challenge: First Events Task

@Crystal Bruce I like the fee set-up and how it allows you to link to appeal, fund, campaign and package, and also set up the Receipt Amount all in the same place.

@Crystal Bruce It is a clean process to add new events - especially when linking to appeal, fund and campaign.

@Crystal Bruce The automatic creation of a constituent profile from registrations is a great timesaver!

@Crystal Bruce The event was easier to set up then in database view. I loved creating new constituents in the event and linking the fees are simple. The one item I could not figure out is how to add a non constituent as an event participant. We have some learning/introduction events that are paid for and hosted by our board members or major donors. Some of the host do not want some of the participants added to RE.

@Debbie Atkinson I tested the unknown guest feature but you cannot record a name.

@Crystal Bruce Very easy to use & config

@Crystal Bruce The “Allow registrants to decline RSVP” option!

@Crystal Bruce Setting up an event was easy and straightforward. This isn't something we currently use but I am going to show it to our team.

@Crystal Bruce I agree with Hannah McKinney. The automatic creation of a constituent profile from registrations is a great timesaver!

I love that I can click and see how many people are attending. It's much easier for me to know who's coming and who has donated.

@Crystal Bruce I like the ease with which you can set up multiple forms for one event. Very helpful for group registrations where different groups have different options.

@Crystal Bruce Online registration forms are much easier to build then in OLX

@Crystal Bruce
I like the Participant Options feature which can be used for a privacy waiver - this will be useful for us for our communication preferences, although we have not started using it at this stage. I also really like the ability to bulk update attendees/check them in on arrival.
I note that several other users like the feature of attendees automatically being created as a constituent. This is actually a real difficulty for us, as we have many guest attendees who we may never interact with again and who we don't want as constituents in the database. Could BB please include a feature where the creation of a constituent record is optional? Perhaps at the stage of a manual check of matchups between RSVPs and existing constituents if their details don't quite match?0 -
@Crystal Bruce I like the ability to create different registration forms that include different options - depending if they need free or paid options. The new expense feature is nice to have as well!

@Crystal Bruce Setting up events in webview is super easy. My favorite is being able to create multiple forms for one event.

@Crystal Bruce
It so much easier than olx. I also like that not all of the team has access to olx and they can now create their own events if needed.0 -
@Crystal Bruce I like that I can set up different registration fees for individuals, couples, or tables, as well as complimentary tickets. I also like the online data health check for possible duplicates and matching constituents.

@Crystal Bruce
Setting up an event is easy. We've used this only once but planning to have more events soon. Online registration, event fees, attendees, & follow-up, are easy with event records.1 -
@Crystal Bruce
I like the ease of adding participants. That always seemed to be difficult in DB view.0 -
@Crystal Bruce
I like that you are able to create a constituent list from the “work with participants” page - that makes things SO much easier!0 -
@Crystal Bruce Definitely easy. And being able to make a list is great for event managers who found it cumbersome in database view.

@Crystal Bruce The ability to export a participant list easily has made it easy for my event manager to export her own list for email reminders, saving work for me!

@Crystal Bruce
I like being able to look at a list of registrants w/o having to pull a query.0 -
@Crystal Bruce I love the ability to keep track of who attended vs. who was invited!

@Crystal Bruce
Setting up the online registration form after setting up the event. This has saved us so much time for those who prefer to pay by credit card.0 -
@Crystal Bruce, the process of creating an event is easy, and like others have said, I like that we can select different registration options on the same form.

@Crystal Bruce it was quick and easy to set an event up.

@Crystal Bruce I love to be able to visualize all components of Events in a single page (different from database view where we had to jump from tab to tab). That makes it so much easier to add/edit information and have a general view on the event.

@Crystal Bruce I like being able to see all information on one page and the Participants online data health section needs further investigation

@Crystal Bruce
Love the participant listing being easily accessible0
