What's New With Raiser's Edge NXT For Gmail: Add Actions As You Compose Email!

With the Raiser's Edge NXT for Gmail add-in, you can now add actions for new email messages as you create them in Google Gmail.316f00ff633aacadcbf7e86e9eb76eec-huge-coIn Gmail, select Compose, enter the constituent's email address in the To field, and then select Raiser's Edge NXT - Blackbaud or — if the add-on is already open to the constituent's information — Add action.

Admins! To enable others at your organization to install the add-on, from Control Panel, Applications, browse to Raiser's Edge NXT for Gmail under Available Apps, and select Connect. Once enabled, users at your organization can then install the add-on through the G Suite Marketplace.

    Thank you for the update.  My Major Gift Officers have been begging for this ability, but will a solicitor be assigned to these actions?  We track interactions by solicitor, so if these actions don't have a solicitor, the functionality really won't be useful for us.

    Hey Chris! If someone's marked as a fundraiser in Raiser's Edge NXT, the add-on automatically assigns them any action they create from their Gmail inbox. You can still update the action's fundraiser assignments as necessary. I hope that helps. Thanks!
