What’s New (Feb 15, 2018)

This release of Financial Edge NXT includes several new features and enhancements. Let’s start with invoices.


To help improve data entry efficiency when entering invoices, we moved the Post status and Post date fields on the Add invoice screen. These fields are now located just below the Invoice date and Due date fields, under General.


Also, the Post date field now defaults to the invoice date you enter. You can change the post date, but we recommend using the same date for the invoice date and post date. Budgets (Beta)

When you filter a budget's scenario list, the filters have been updated to include additional options such as segment and category for accounts, status and department for projects, and transaction codes for grants. You can also now mark budget scenarios inactive, and you can also finalize them. For more information, see the Scenarios help topic.


To provide feedback for budgets in the web view, let us know what you think in the Community.

 

You can now easily download and refresh credit card transactions from the Credit card accounts page. Previously, you could download and refresh transactions only from the Credit card activity page or Credit card account register. For more information, see the Credit Card Accounts help topic.

 

To ease navigation, you can now manage multiple resources from the same location where you access feature areas within Financial Edge NXT.


If you use multiple Blackbaud products that support Blackbaud ID, you can seamlessly switch between them and Financial Edge NXT.

To access the database view or use another database, select the Database icon.

To manage your personal account details, select your initials.
