I’ll never get used to this view…


Numerous science fiction films begin just like this, and I am fully invested every single time. I love sci-fi. I love space adventures.

The things I really gravitate to in these films are the aesthetics. The colors (or lack thereof), the random beeping, the sound of an airlock closing. I just can’t get enough. The atmosphere is what really draws me into the world (or the absence of a world, as it may be).

I would love to be a pilot on a ship exploring the universe. Being the first to see parts of the universe that no one has ever seen, all the while, having the instruments and controls of the ship at my fingertips.
