Fellowship Of The Badges: Side Quest!

We have our first winner for Badge Quest: Chamber of Badges. Plus, calling all NINJAS IN TRAINING -- it's time for a side quest!Are you ready to earn an extra entry into Badge Quest: Fellowship of the Badges?


Bonus: Your side quest challenge will also give you a headstart on the final Badge Quest (still to be named, although "Raiders of the Lost Badges" is currently in the lead.) Gah! I've said too much!!

Check out all of the adventurers who have completed Fellowship of the Badges and Chamber of Badges and send them a friend request. The more connections you are making the better! Once you have friended them - leave an interesting fact about your organization on their wall. It can be anything.. when it was founded, what your mission is, a story about a beloved volunteer, etc. 


For BONUS COMMUNITY POINTS (let's say, 50!)  - leave a factoid about your new connection and/or their organization in the comments below. Not only is it fun to learn about a new connection in Community, learning about the mission they are passionate about is also inspiring!

  • Wow! There are a lot of people completing these quests. I did not expect to see so many names when I looked to see who had completed the quests.
  • Julie Gurnon is in Development at Habitat for Humanity in TX. I gladly shared that my daughter works at Habitat for Humanity New Orleans.

  • My new connection, Janet Paddock, is the Development Stewardship Coordinator at Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The annual Spring gala auction event is called The Night of the Lion, the Lions being their school mascot.
  • My new friend is Melanie Peck and she has been working for the Hilton Head Christian Academy since 2007 that provides a faith-based 21st century edu for students from K-12. 


    One fun fact about her is that she is also working in real estate!

  • Just connected with Sue Gillian from Camp Oochigeas located in Canada. It is a camp dedicated to children with cancer providing them wonderful outdoor camping experiences. They've been doing this great work for over 30 years! They often refer to their experiences at camp as the "Magic of Ooch".

  • My new connection, Claire Hogan and I actually work for the same healthcare organization. Aaaaaannnnnnddddd, we both previously worked for the same organization a few years ago (but not at the same time). LOL

  • Crystal Chouinard works at Rady Children's Hospital Foundation in San Diego.  This institute leads the way in advancing precision healthcare for infants and children through genomic and systems medicine research.  Recently, one of the scientists, Dr. Kingsmore, surpassed his old world record for speedist genetic diagnosis with his genome sequencing, 19.5 hours.

    Larry Wheeler loves to fish, and I just started fishing this year, so we have catching our own dinner in common!
