We are under two weeks away from #GivingTuesday 2018! Who else can believe it? Turn Your Tuesday with Giving Tuesday


That means I have things to share in the Community to support your efforts. Let’s dive in and make the most of those 24 hours!


First, check out the #GivingTuesday Community where you can find the following:
  • Resources, blogs, and discussions to help you get the most out of those 24 hours.
  • Polls! We want to hear from you about your #GivingTuesday experience and plans.
  • Social wall where you can see tweets throughout the day.

    I'm going with 8 #GivingTuesday mentions and I took the poll.  Every Tuesday since Halloween we've been posting, emailing, and sending videos out into the world.  We're super excited for it.

    It's a huge day for us. Last year we raised tens of thousands (we're a $3M organization) and our board did a 2:1 match. So, it's big! We're actually starting today and asking people to give between now and Nov 27 and will match all gifts made in that time period. We're also going bigger on socials, explicitly asking donors to tag six friends on socials and asking them to give. Fingers crossed that it makes for an even bigger giving day. Good luck, all!!
