Responsive Secure Payment Pages With BBNC 7.0

In NetCommunity 7.0 you will have the ability to preview the layout of existing event registration and payment 2.0 pages as they will appear when using our new responsive secure payment template. The new responsive templates will allow Blackbaud’s Secure Payments to retain your site's layout while still providing the security that you expect from Blackbaud Payment Services. Here are some improvements that have been made from the last version of NetCommunity:
  • Support for CSS 3
  • Support for HTML 5
  • A graphical slider that lets you preview existing event pages for compatibility with the new Blackbaud Responsive template.
If you are creating a new event page in NetCommunity the responsive template will already be in place and no further configuration will be necessary. For pages that existed before NetCommunity 7.0, follow these steps to upgrade:
  1.  Edit an NetCommunity event or payment 2.0 page that was created before the 7.0 upgrade
  2.  Click Page properties
  3.  Select the Blackbaud secure page preview tab

Notice with the included slider that a preview of both the existing payment view and responsive payment view will be available. The slider will also allow you to switch between a desktop and mobile device view.

Once you have reviewed the page, checking the box to use the responsive web page design will prompt you to save changes and the page will inherit the responsive template from that point on. Note that once these changes are made you cannot revert back to the original version.     This update clearly says that this is for Event Registration Pages -- But the email alerting me to the update made it sound as if it would apply to all my pages in NetCommunity on which I accept a gift.
