Halloween Lovers: What's on the agenda for October?

You marathoning your favorite scary movies? (BTW, what are yours?).

Going to some local haunted houses? (BTW, where ya going?)

Dressing up for a work or friend party? (BTW, what are you this year?)

I gotta know!

    Bobby,

I started decorating that is about it!!!

Inside and outside of the house!

We do plan on going to the Blue Dog Saloon !

I had mentioned it to you previously!! The Legend of the Blue Dog, Port Tobacco MD

    What are you doing?

  • @Jennifer Kluh Well, the Mrs. and I watched Texas Chainsaw Part 2 (1986) for the first time the other night. It was really bad but I don't regret it! Uhh, I've got a Halloween-themed 5K at our local zoo that I'm trying to convince my boss to do with me. :-)

  • I'm dressing up and taking the kids trick or treating. For the month of October, every weekend we watch scary movies. ☺️

LOLOLOLOLOL at Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2! It's absolutely bonkers in the very best and most unexpected way.

My husband and I are HUUUUUGE horror fans so we watch horror movies year-round but this is our time to shine when the streaming services bring out all the good stuff (I've been waiting all year for Cronenberg's The Fly to stream). I'm on Letterboxd and a bunch of folks do a Hooptober (RIP Tobe Hooper, director of the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre) challenge where we watch a specific list of 31 movies (ex: 4 movies adapted from novels, 2 post apocalyptic movies, etc.).

We're not big Halloween fans, so we go to my parents' house where they don't have Trick-or-Treaters. :)

We did hand out candy when our daughter was younger, but she has serious food allergies, so it wasn't fun for her to have to give away most of the treats. And we were careful to hand out things that are safer for more kids, though finding that in candy is really hard.

I live the spooky life all year round, so it's pretty much business as usual for me🤣

My Mum, however, is dressing up for her line dancing class - so she's borrowed my glow-in-the-dark skeleton pyjamas and gloves to wear over her regular clothes. They're a lot bigger than her regular clothes so I might suggest she tuck the legs into her socks to go with the belt she's going to have to wear to keep the trousers up!!
