Microsoft Azure Outage on October 29th, 2025

Like many organizations, Blackbaud solutions experienced a service interruption due to a Microsoft Azure outage, which affected users attempting to sign in with their Blackbaud ID, including access to the Customer Support portal. According to Blackbaud system logs, the team noticed performance activity started to resume at 4:20 p.m. ET on October 29. Microsoft publicly announced the resolution of the global outage at 8:05 p.m. ET on the same day. Monitoring and assessment of Blackbaud systems is ongoing to ensure continued operational status.
