Detailed roadmaps are always a plus. Transparency on the reasoning behind bringing features to WV vs not, and any time it's decided not to publish that list so we know what processes we need to change now rather than waiting until DBV's sunset.

I definitely agree with Austen above. I think that having a roadmap would be ideal. There is a lot that I would like to accomplish, iron out, familiarize myself with before database view goes away, so I'd appreciate more transparency on when that may be. And if a timeline is not feasible (since often times projects such as these have setbacks and delays etc), at least a roadmap so that we can see how close we are getting to the end goal.

Yes to all points! The changes made are very forward thinking and exciting, but it is going to drastically shape how some of us do our jobs. These sessions are pivotal to helping us keep up with what's happening and prepare. Thank you for the transparency and for listening to (and implementing) our feedback!

As I mentioned in a previous comment, I appreciate that Blackbaud hosts these webinars. They help me prepare for major changes and stay informed so I can best help my colleagues as we evolve as an organization. I like hearing from the experts, too. It helps me understand what is going on "behind-the-scenes" so I can apply this knowledge to my daily workflow and make changes when/where necessary. The live demonstrations are great for this reason, so I hope to see more of those folded into future webinars.

A tight follow-up package (slides or one-pager, plus links to key resources and OnDemand chapters) that I can reuse with my leadership and colleagues would be incredibly valuable. Think: “Here’s how to present this roadmap to your own organization in 15 minutes.”
Alternatively, and while maybe those sessions are not the right platform, for few of us, the biggest leverage is in integrations, automation, and analytics. Even a recurring short section like “Platform & Integration Corner” (APIs, connectors, data model changes, automation possibilities is always helpful, especially for people like me who bridge product, IT, and strategy.2 -
It would be helpful to have a detailed roadmap available for download so we can have access to the additional details as needed and use it to review what was covered in the product update briefing.

Having PUBs twice a year is really heplful so we as users can better understand upcoming changes and possible adjustments to the timeline on those changes, especially since NXT is going through so many. The updated formatting of the roadmap is really helpful and easier to read.
Because NXT is going through so many updates I would personally prefer the longer 90 minute format but as Austen said in another comment I think that is the minority. Keeping things high level helps to fit things in 60 minutes but I like a little more detail. Regardless, these updates are much appreciated!

It would be great to have some kind of authorised slideshow summary that we can share with our teams after the PUB. I'm the designated PUB watcher, so my colleagues get to "enjoy" a long word document with screenshots of slides, FAQ questions, URLs from the useful links side tab and my own random thoughts about the features that are coming in a kind of higgledy piggledy order.

I am going to echo the request for some sort of "safe harbor" slideshow or documents that could be emailed to everyone after attending or watching the PUB. It can help to review what was shared and digest it a little bit more to see if there are questions you have or want to make sure you explore when a new feature is released. It can also allow for the sharing of job specific information with colleagues who may be impacted by the changes so they can be prepared as well.

I agree with our colleagues; a summary slideshow or "the roadmap explained in 15 minutes" would be so helpful. Many RE users are reluctant to use web view so anything to present to get them to buy in would be great. The higher level overview that PUBs provide is nice but I think users really want more detail.

I think a tighter time line of when some things are going to be added would be great and a short webinar of which things are added to NXT maybe monthly 15 minutes if enough new things are added that month.

I agree with all of the feedback so far. A detailed roadmap is something that be extremely helpful and something we could share with team members that were unable to attend the briefings.

Details are great and please keep in mind the concerns regarding retiring webview before all of the functionality of webview is added to NXT.

I would love to know what features are not being brought over so that I can make plans for how that may affect me and my organization. If BB wants to offer early adopter programs, I think it would be helpful to make the QR codes available in places in addition to the slides as they're going. The pre-recorded session for NXT made some of the QR codes go by too quickly for me to capture in the moment. I think it might also be helpful to include directions on how to scan those QR codes on a desktop/laptop computer instead of using one's personal phone. Sunshine Watson noted how to do that in the Raiser's Edge User Group Facebook page, and it was so so helpful! Also, again, if possible, please give us a downloadable copy of the presentation slides.

I really appreciate the PUBs — they’re super helpful and give me confidence in where Raiser’s Edge NXT is headed. That said, I’m all in on a detailed roadmap, downloadable slides/handouts, and a single 90‑minute session that covers both the why/how and the what/when. Having everything in one place makes it so much easier to absorb. I also appreciate the inclusion of live demos and look forward to future Town Halls for open Q&A and discussion.
Everyone did a fantastic job presenting, and I think a post‑PUB blog that captures all the Q&A would be a great addition — especially since many questions can’t be answered live and Q&A isn’t available to those who watch OnDemand. (If there was a blog posted and I missed it, please let me know!)1 -
Ditto so many of the other posts: timeline, details, transparency.
Using RE is our job and keeps our organization functioning. It's not okay to drop needed functions or to have functions such as global add and many other gift functions still not operational. The PUBs are great and I truely appreciate the time and communication. The growth just can't be at the expense of function or you will be losing customers. Webview has been a huge undertaking but as the repeated delays have shown no plan is perfect. The PUBs do help bring us all up to speed.

As I mentioned as part of my answer to the Second Product Update Briefing Feedback Challenge, it would be very helpful if we had a more direct channel to answer questions about the upcoming features. I know providing the emails of the presenters is not feasible, but having a specific channel (other than case support) would be great.

I'm a fan of visuals, and I would benefit greatly from having a visual posted somewhere where I can check to see the current timeline on changes, and which features are not currently being brought to Web View so I can either build a workaround or petition to add them to the list via the ideabank.

Two things:
The chat function being turned off made me feel that transparency was lacking a bit, even if this was not intentional and more of a "housekeeping" piece. It also meant that some chatter that would have typically been in the chat was instead in the Q&AThe Q&A is a LOT- I get that. I also get that realistically, not all questions can be addressed in the PUB, and that there are duplicates/overlap. I think that the PSG session later in the week did help, and would love to see something like that again. What I would also like to see though, is some kind of post PUB update of "Q & A" answers- it's so clear that so many people have the same questions emerging from PUBs, but sometimes it feels like they fall between the cracks, or we don't get an answer until months later.
Other than that, I love what people are saying about some kind of post event summary or roadmap. It is a LOT of info to digest, but so important- it would be nice if I wasn't constantly screenshotting and missing things as I attempt to take notes! The ability to use them as a supplement to explain rollouts to leadership on a high level would also be extremely helpful.1 -
I would love to receive clear summaries of what is on the roadmap with links to the resources about it after the pub. So many things were touched on, that I wanted to find out more, but other than a one sentence reference, there was no more information out there. I also appreciated the PSG follow up (grateful to them for always been on top of all that!) - but its an indicator that something is missing from the Blackbaud communications when we need to get clarity from partners rather than directly from BB.

I would like to know why database view has to be retired and if it could possibly always stay in the background?

I agree with everything that has been posted so far. A follow up roadmap would be very helpful. As others have said, we know that it wouldn't be a guarantee of dates, but seeing what is coming and when would be great. As Sara said above, knowing what is not being brought over as soon as it is known is also important as it allows us time to let you know what would cause major problems. We appreciate that you are listening to the community on what we need to do our jobs. This will be even more important as we get closer to database view being sun stetted.
