I tried asking the AI bot to create a note thanking a donor for the most recent gift. It kept returning their lifetime giving summary in place of the most recent amount, and I could not get it to correct it. I did submit feedback though.

I asked it to create a planned giving ask because I am a recurring donor (tested all of this on my own record) and it was very generic and used Legacy Society repeatedly/too much and it was not very inspiring of a message. I asked it to suggest the most likely method of planned gift and to use Legacy Society less, it just gave a list of PG vehicles. I asked it to suggest the most likely vehicle and while it gave me the same 6 options again, it did suggest two that were more likely.
Dear Daniel R. Snyder,
I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your recent gift of $10.00 designated for the General Purpose Endowment as part of the Endowment campaign. Your generosity plays a crucial role in supporting our mission and enhancing the educational experience for our students.
Thanks to your contribution, we are able to provide essential resources that directly impact our programs and initiatives. Your support helps us maintain and grow the endowment, ensuring that we can continue to offer scholarships, enhance facilities, and invest in innovative projects that benefit our community.
We truly appreciate your commitment to Bennington College and the positive difference you are making in the lives of our students. Thank you once again for your generosity and support.
Warm regards,

The thank you letter generated was actually pretty good. I would not have to make many adjustments in order to use it. This feature actually worked for me.

This worked pretty well. I tried it on someone who is a bigger donor as well as someone who has lapsed and we haven't had a lot of contact with. I think it does work better when you give it a starting point to make adjustments from rather than drafting it from only the information on someone's record.

This was pretty good and quick! My prompt was "Create a thank you message for me to send to [donor name] for her recent gift to the Blue and White Campaign (our annual fund). The response is below:
Subject: Thank You for Your Generous Support!
Dear donor,
On behalf of Holy Family University, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your recent gift to the Blue and White Campaign. Your generosity plays a vital role in helping us achieve our mission and make a meaningful impact on our students and community.
Thanks to your support, we can continue to enhance our programs, provide scholarships, and create opportunities for our students to excel. Your commitment to our vision is truly inspiring, and we are grateful to have you as part of our Holy Family family.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support. We look forward to keeping you updated on the positive changes your contribution is making!
Warm regards,
Julie Rempfer

I think the letter it generates is a good starting point for my fundraisers, especially if they have writer's block. It's much easier to revise something that already exists as opposed to a blank page. If I were the assigned solicitor, I'd know exactly where to slide in personal details to make it feel better. I'm still new at my org, but I've definitely noticed a lack of personal interests and history which would normally be recorded in call reports in actions. The details mostly live in the fundraiser's head (currently working on changing that, haha). Chat can't pull up what's not there.
*Please note that IT has not given me the green light to opt-in to this feature. My comments are based off what I've seen in demos and other community members' posts.

This is really helpful! Was sending an email and gave some helpful tips.

I actually liked this feature a lot more than the add an action feature. I appreciated how quickly it was able to pull the record as well as craft something that sounds like our actual thank you letters! I definitely think this could be a good starting point with crafting our donor engagement. I think I most appreciate how it can pull donor information and compile it easily. I think that will be helpful for my team when they're on the go to be able to pull information quickly and not search for it in the donor's profile.

The thank you letter was pretty good, though a bit generic. I had to ask twice to include details of the last gift, but in the end, I had a nice thank you letter.

I asked for a thank you letter for the latest gift but it wrote one for the gift before last. It was a nice thank you letter - obviously a bit generic as my organisation's "flavour" isn't baked in or set as defaults anywhere.

I asked the AI to generate a message for me about our March match opportunity. Since I am in the system as both a donor and employee, the first several versions were more employee based listing ways to promote the match. After asking it to be aimed at a donor, it came up with a good starting point for a letter.
Subject: Double Your Impact This March!
Dear Joe Henricks,
We hope this message finds you well! As a valued supporter of Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, we are excited to share an incredible opportunity with you this month.
Throughout March, we have a special matching gift campaign that allows your donation to go twice as far. Every dollar you contribute will be matched, dollar for dollar, thanks to our generous matching partners. This means that your gift will directly help us provide even more meals to those in need in our community.
Your past support has made a significant difference in the lives of many, and we invite you to join us once again to maximize your impact. Whether you choose to give a one-time donation or set up a recurring contribution, every bit helps us fight hunger and supports our mission.
To take advantage of this matching opportunity, please visit our donation page [insert link] or contact us directly if you have any questions.
Thank you for being a champion for those we serve. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community.
Warm regards,

The first constituent I tried to draft a thank you letter for most recent gift, it couldn't find the most recent gift even though there was one a few days ago. I tried twice and it gave up and asked me to ask for something else. Then I tried a different person, it worked for them. The letter was good, I feel I would have to carefully read the letters it creates to make sure everything it says is appropriate and accurate before sending. I get a little nervous letting it generate my thank you letters, but as long as I pre-read them, it would be ok in some cases.
