User-defined fields in Reports

I need your advice on how to add user-defined fields to indicate donations received by multiple sources of funding via partner institutions.

I have tried all possible options in the Journal section to add an extra field to the report. But system-defined fields do not give us necessary options to capture a multiple source of funding arriving from other partner institutions.

Any suggestions?

    Can you explain what you mean by “received by multiple sources of funding via partner institutions”? If you were to use a soft credit, one journal entry only allows for one soft credit. If one donation comes from multiple sources, can you breakdown the amount and apply each smaller amount to a constituent account till it equals the full amount?

    You mentioned first user defined fields and then system defined fields. I assume you mean user defined fields.

    @Daler Baitursunov out of curiosity… have you tried to create a UDF in the with multiple options for check boxes? I have an example of what we do below. In this field I have added a number of items so I can track QCD's and Foundation gifts. Let me know if this is what you are looking for and I can walk you through it.
