Deceased Finder webview

Can anybody explain what these mean? I don't understand what the 52 deceased supporters mean if I don't have any in Data Health that haven't been marked. Thank you

@Whitney Shelton - Here's what the help guide says:

To help identify constituents who may have passed away but aren't yet marked as Deceased, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically compares your database against the Social Security Administration (SSA) death benefits database and other sources. In Tools, Data health, under Scorecard, you can view the Deceased health score for the general accuracy of your constituents' Deceased status. For more information, see Deceased Finder.

  • @Whitney Shelton, my question on this pic is, where do you mail that only costs you 40 cents per letter? ? Maybe it's just our stationery, but between postage , paper, and matching, we usually run about 80-90 cents per piece.

  • @Faith Murray It's just the general setting Blackbaud has it set on. The weird thing is that I have marked all of our deceased in the deceased finder. They are all inactive and Do not mail.

@Whitney Shelton - RE NXT seems to think you have 52 records that still need to be marked. I think this should be taken with a grain of salt though - as the documentation I posted below seems to reference Deceased Finder and I know that the data from that data append does not consider familial suffixes in its search.

@Whitney Shelton – 52 is not the number needing review I don't think? Looking at our own results below, it's hard to tell where these numbers come from!

If you still have records in the “Needing Review” section, you will need to mark them as Deceased or Remove From List to clear them to improve your DRF Score. I also just realized the records needing review also includes non-constituent relationship records. ?
