Audit Constituent Spouse Giving

Wondering if anyone has found a good way to audit spouse (with record) giving, so with soft credits, each record within the couple has matching giving (for most cases)? Find the records that don't match might be a starting point. We have done ok with those that have the same last name.

@Pete McCormick - Run a constituent query. In the output include the constituent ID, associated spouse ID, and summary information for total giving; make sure the query is including soft credits in the calculations. Export the query too excel, once there highlight the constituent ID and Spouse ID columns, then click Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values > OK. Sort the document so that highlighted cells are grouped together and do a manual review of total giving for spousal records.

I've done something very similar to Austen, but used Export. This allowed me to export Head of Household only, but you and export each individual's giving separately. So I have one row with me as head of household, my giving, my spouse's name and his giving.

Then I add a column in Excel and used the “exact” function to compare our giving totals. That function returns a TRUE or FALSE value, so I sort by that value, delete anything that is TRUE, and then review records where it is FALSE.

While I love the ability to work directly within RE, I appreciated that this resulted in a list that showed me exactly the records that needed review.
