Are you a skilled and experienced fundraiser looking for an excellent career opportunity with a passionate, mission-driven team in a great location? Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and Alaska (RMHC) supports seriously ill children and their families by providing housing while they receive treatment from Seattle Children’s Hospital. Our facilities are located in the University District, Seattle.
We’re growing our Fund Development Team and we have a rare opening. Currently, we have an opportunity for a talented Chief Development Officer to help us expand to the next level as we provide even more congregate housing and serve more families. The Chief Development Officer (CDO) will work closely with the RMHC Executive Director (ED) and Board of Directors to ensure strategic success and board involvement in appropriate fundraising efforts. The CDO partners with the ED in all development, budgeting and fundraising endeavors and maintains a visible presence as an ambassador of the agency in the philanthropic, corporate, and nonprofit communities. Internally, the CDO fosters a culture of philanthropy, ensure the organization’s culture, systems, and procedures support fund development and vice versa; manages the overall growth and expansion of the organization and ensures financial stability over long-term change and development.

Today we have three facilities in Seattle, including 10 Bone Marrow Transplant Apartments with a total of 105 rooms. Our Anchorage House in Alaska has 34 rooms and is nestled on the 6th floor of the Alaska Native Medical Center’s patient housing. Patients include expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies as well as pediatric patients and their families. |
